HOW IT WORKS
Exfoliating:
As the carbon is targeted by the laser, it blasts away dead skin cells, blackheads and effectively exfoliates the skin. The result is softer, radiant skin with reduced pore size and a more even skin tone.
Cleansing:
Carbon has the ability to absorb oil and contaminants from deep within the pores. When the laser is passed over the treatment area it targets and destroys the carbon particles, taking any absorbed material with it.
Rejuvenating:
Carbon peels also target the deep layers of the skin to stimulate collagen production, which in turn produces firmer, plumper skin, reduces fine lines and wrinkles, and leaves skin feeling tighter and glowing.
Acne and Oil Destroying:
The heat produced by carbon peels has two additional benefits: 1) Reducing the bacteria responsible for acne, and 2) Shrinking the oil producing glands (sebaceous). This results in less oil production and reduces congestion build-up in the pores. Treatments can be performed on any part of the body including the back and chest.

How does the Carbon Laser Skin Rejuvenation feel?
Carbon Laser Skin Rejuvenation has been described as feeling warm or prickly, but not painful. It assists in leaving the skin looking clear and glowing. A minor ‘sonic’ boom is heard as the carbon particles are targeted by the laser and the light energy is absorbed by the carbon particles.
Is there any downtime after the Carbon Laser Skin Rejuvenation?
The procedure is non-invasive and most people return to normal activities straight after their treatment. You will need to ensure that you use the recommended SPF 50+ sunblock for any outdoor activities.
What can I expect on the day of my Carbon Laser Skin Rejuvenation?
On the day of your treatment you will need to remove any make-up or moisturisers. Make-up and sunscreen may be applied immediately following treatment if required.
How many treatments will I require?
You will notice an immediate difference in your skin texture after 1 treatment. Pores will be reduced and clearer. Depending on your desired results and skin condition, 3-4+ treatments are recommended to start. 10 treatments will provide optimal results. To achieve ideal results regular treatments anywhere from 10 days to a month apart are recommended. One every now and then is great for a freshen up.
Are there any side effects?
The skin may appear slightly blushed after treatments but disappears within a few hours.
